DL7ASN CALLS DL1HRC was about transforming an old garage yard in Hannover into a place dedicated to a specific hobby that is enjoyed in groups. We chose amateur radio and wanted to create a space that offers an attractive and vivid alternative to the operator‘s secret chamber at home and welcomes everyone who is curious.
"Make ham radio visible“ was the starting point. Our design offers a
large workshop, a central meeting space and playfully arranged sheds that serve as personal spaces for broadcasting. Four of them are equipped with a bed and shower to host guests.“
DL7ASN CALLS DL1HRC was developed with the help of active amateur radio operators to stay as close as possible to the character of this particular hobby.
